This Whetstone Park of Roses & Scioto Mile engagement was nothing short of amazing. I met Abbey back in college at The Ohio State University – we were in the same sorority, just a few years apart. I always thought she was super sweet so it was obviously nice to see her after all these years with such an amazing man! They’re both in the medical field which could not be more fitting – their kindness and zest for life was contagious. Even though Abby & I did not know each other well back in our days at OSU, we instantly hit it off during their engagement session.
We started their session at the Park of Roses with their sweet doodle babe, Elliot. I love when couples ask to bring their pup along because dogs are family too. I cannot imagine life without my fur babies! Abby was so thoughtful and even brought her sister along to keep the big guy company while he was not in the shot. What a lifesaver!! And that bow tie… come on, adorable! She seriously thought of everything!
These two were naturals in front of the camera and their fun loving attitudes radiated throughout the whole session. I adored their outfit choices – floral dresses are everything – and the way they complemented each other was perfect. After we finished up at the Park of Roses, Abby, Michael & Zeke ran home to change and drop off the tired pup before starting round two! Luckily they live right in Clintonville so the transition was a piece of cake!
We met back up at the Scioto Mile and the lighting could not have been more perfect. When I got home and started looking through their images, I kept thinking, is this even real?! It looks like a painting! WHAT! Gosh I love that creamy bokeh background!
I cannot wait to hear more about their Fall 2018 Wedding plans! Abby & Michael, I wish you two a lifetime of happiness!
